Strathdon Manor International was born in 1995 out of a vision to provide people with an alternative to everyday humdrum living, where more than 90% of people simply exist, and do not live! 

We believe that, in order to live a life that is fulfilling and exciting, you have to live from your passions, you have in fact to live your passions.

Our chief strategist, Grant D Muhl, has a total of 28 years experience in living life with passion, goal setting, strategic planning, lifestyle development consulting, and simply living life to the full. Born in a small mining town west of Johannesburg, South Africa in the early 1960's, Grant grew up in the rough and tumble world of gold mining. Life was never anything else but hard and Grant learnt from an early age that, in order to survive, a strong sense of who he was and what he wanted from life was crucial. Grant brings the same tenacity and resilience to the company.

Grant's passions are many, and include the following:

• Both Local and International travel (sometimes alone, but mostly with his family)
  
• Newfoundland dogs (Grant currently has two 8 month old Newfies named Jaguar and James Bond)
  
• a love for local wines (evidenced in his growing wine cellar collection)
  
• a passion for the outdoors and wildlife
  
• digital and video photography
  
• orchids (all housed in a small orchid greenhouse on his property)

 Grant is an entrepreneur at heart, and has a keen interest in small business development, as evidenced in the many small businesses he has been involved in over the past 29 years.

Grant also specializes in online business development, and shares many of his passions with thousands on various websites and blogs.
